Where are you traveling to this summer?  If it is to New York City, than remember to take your leash and off you go!  Here are a few Pet Friendly places we found in the City.  Do you have any others to add?

For sleeping….

W Hotel New York Union Square

201 Park Ave S  New York, NY
Phone: (212) 253-9119

W Hotels are notoriously pet-friendly ($100 one-time cleaning fee and $25 a day), and this location offers a comfy bed, bowls, treats, a toy, and even a special in-room menu just for pets. They’ll even arrange for someone to walk Fido.

For shopping…

No need to leave your pooch at the door at Saks Fifth Avenue (611 5th Ave), Tiffany & Co(727 5th Ave) or Ralph Lauren (867 Madison Ave).

For playing…

Washington Square Park  W 4th St and Waverly Pl, New York, NY
Two dog runs–one for smaller dogs, one for larger–make this Greenwich Village park a haven for pets.

and

Tompkins Square Park  500 E 9TH St, New York, NY
The popular dog run at this park is a great place for you and your dog to meet new friends.

For pamering…

Woofspa and Resort 678 Hudson St, New York, NY
Spoil your pooch with special precision cuts, oatmeal baths, hot oil treatments, massages and “peticures.” Twenty-four-hour pick-up/drop-off–and even car service–can be arranged.

For eating…

Boat Basin Cafe W 79th St, New York, NY
Maybe the most dog-friendly spot in the city, pooches of all sizes join their owners for al fresco eats all summer long.

and

Bubby’s 120 Hudson St, New York, NY
Bring your dogs and sit outside for brunch at this Tribeca favorite.

I guess that’s why dogs love NY, too!
