As the recent article published in the Chicago Tribune explains, Carmel-by-the-Sea, a costal village about 125 miles south of San Francisco, is not just dog friendly – it is REALLY DOG FRIENDLY!
Here you will find dog-friendly beaches, hard to come across in certain parts of the country, as well as dog friendly hotels, restaurants and stores.
Visit Carmel-by-the-Sea and you may run into a few pet-friendly celebrities as well. Pampered dogs can enjoy a dog biscuit at check-in at resident Doris Day’s hotel, Cypress Inn. Doris Day is the Founder and President of the the Doris Day Animal Foundation and the Doris Day Animal League, which recently merged with The Humane Society of the United States.
Or, shop at Carmel Plaza and your dog can drink, play, or whatever they want, at the Fountain of Woof while owners are shopping at Tiffany’s.
But if you are thinking of packing up your pooch and moving to Carmel-by-the-Sea, you should be prepared. According to the Chicago Tribune article, in a recent listing of 113 homes for sale in Carmel-by-the-Sea, 92 were priced over $1 million.
That’s one lucky dog.

Thanks to the Long Beach California Press Telegram for this story.

However, Edmonson doesn’t usually get too many customers asking for these type of environmentally friendly products, and most pet owners usually don’t know they are even available.
But with more eco-friendly pet lovers and business owners there are more options than ever, you just have to know where to look. READ THE FULL STORY NOW
